You know this really clarified something for me. So much fud on the internet is really about over simplification. If you take out all context and reduce something down to nothing you can make the conclusion whatever.

I was expecting a totally different glad but personally if someone wants to die or you know their life is horrible then its perfectly fine. My dad unfortunately survived a really long time with alzheimers and if I could have gifted him dying 10 years earlier I would have. He died bed ridden with an emaciated body and hands permanently balled into fists that could not unclenched. Even baby food would cause him to choke if not careful and he could not even make a coherent nonsensical sentence.

I find this so stupid. Yes some people are not influenced by ads. I don't shop at a food store due to its ads. I never saw an ad for a steamdeck or an acer laptop. I don't eat fastfood now due to expense but the ads did nothing more than at best tell me of some new item which I might try. Im looking around my house and I can't think of any ad that correlates to the stuff I own. By and large everything was comparison shopped for aspects I wanted vs price.

I recall a big thing with obama was utilizing internet at all as it was pretty traditional before then. I do see the effect as my wife gets to much info from youtube and I will hear dei and immigrant stuff from her. Its tough because it takes much longer for me to take a particular thing and find out what the specifics are and what they are and are not saying from the video than it does for her to watch one. Thing with science is there is open discussion about the problems with it and the literature will change course based on data. Some folks see that as weakness or something that does not work.

I don't really think thats true. Ads have an effect and its more or less depending on the person and for some folks I do think its zero and the effect is not necessarily positive for the campaign on those effected. I don't hear an ad and think maybe I will vote for trump and then another and think kamala. War chest wise to the big spend is with pacs that are capable of greatly outstripping the parties due to citizens united.

I mean its such a classic I can see why folks will want it left alone, but it is a good story and its been a long time since it was filmed. It had such audacious concepts to for the alien technology that special effects of the time could not do justice to. I won't mind this as long as its done really, really well.

im not social but once I got my chats under control I would joke and clown around on them. Well as well as give advice or do actualy game related talk. To me its sorta like a party and I was more likely to engage socially when I was just hanging for one reason or another and more likely to talk business when the action took place. Like champions had these whole zone super enemies called cosmics that popped every four hours and if you came last minute you would likely get locked out of the full zone and they were impossible to beat below a certain threshold of players. so like you would hang out ten or twenty minutes before and screw around. talk and emotes and whatnot.

It sorta depends. One of the toughest things is when im waiting on things and could be disrupted at any moment. So sometimes I don't want to get into a show or video game which are my go to. I oftentimes try to get tasks done like dishes or laundry.
