I don't think those are mutually exclusive
I suspect both of these things to be true. I'm good with that.
At the Target parking lot, a woman jumped in front of a shopping cart to stop it from hitting my car. It wasn't necessary, the cart was going like 3mph.
Incredibly nice of her to do. Weird as hell. Her sacrifice made my day and I think about her all the time.

The only reason I like half my friends is because they did or said something really weird and I knew I had to see more.
I never reflected on this but I think I do the same.
Nice people are appreciated, but forgettable.
The girl who shows you her pet dog she carries in her purse at a bar... That's a friend for life.
This is unironically my greatest fear, and I know this to be true.
The cringe is real.
I deal with so much weird shit, I can forget about it on the ride home.
