I'm configuring my new Linux desktop as a Christmas vacation treat for myself :D
Forgot how much fun customising small things like icons and sounds was - takes me back to the old days of theming Windows 98 and XP. My spouse is judging my questionable sound effect choices but IDFC it's fun!
If that happens we would have a new minimum good base line. That means all other OS have to work on be better than Linux. So good competition would happen.
