The provision previously enjoyed bipartisan backing but steadily lost Democratic support in the aftermath of Trump’s election earlier this month.
Dems were fine with it until it was likely to be used in the exact way it was intended.

How soon before NPR and PBS are “terrorist” organizations? I wish I was joking.
- They'll brand the DSA and socialists like Hasan as terrorists first. Then once they have purged the country of leftist leadership and leftist organizations then they will come for left leaning groups like NPR if and only if NPR refuses to bend the knee.

This is actually a George Bush sounding bill that somehow made it through Trump.

Like I said...Schumer will send this bill to Never Neverland. They'll have to do it again next Congress.

  Keeping your eye on the ball...suppose Schumer did bring the House bill to the floor. Suppose also, that by some quirk it passed. How long do you think it would take Biden to Veto it? I'd say 30 seconds max.
Time for all nonprofits to reform as churches.
