American exceptionalism created Donald Trump. When you create a culture around the idea that "we are inherently superior to all other groups," you get people like Trump.

If there's anything good that could come out of this, Europe becoming a more equal partner in response to American instability would be nice.
- Unlikely since the fascists will likely destroy the EU from within, it’s already done with the UK and they’re making moves in Germany and France. It’s the EU version of regional destabilization
