Overall I enjoyed this show, but I think the student counsil elections stuff took too much time, I was more interested in the little interactions between Masachika, Alya and the others. I'm still looking forward to the next season.
Also did Alya notice Masachika reacted to what she said in Russian in the end?
Earlier in the episode, she used speaking in Russian to get people's attention, so I would assume that she figures that is what was going on with Masachika. He was too embarrassed to make eye contact, so hit him with some Russian to dissipate that and get him to look at you.
Masachika busted?? Maybe Alya was too caught up in the moment to notice.
I waiting so long and I have to say, I thoroughly enjoyed the anime. It's not all romance and comedy, the debates were really well written and I loved the mind games.
When Yuki started analysing Masachika's cheap provocation, I knew it was over. That whole segment flowed so well and I love how well they communicated that indirectly by tying all the lead up to it together.
I'll get around to reading the LNs one of these days, just wanna catch up to Classroom of the Elite and Tsukimichi first.
I also haven't properly looked at all the upcoming anime. I think I'll comment on the pinned thread on the weekend. I noticed some bangers coming out.
If I were Alya, I wouldn't assume that Masachika understood me at the end of the episode. It was a plot point earlier that she can get people's attention by speaking in Russian, so she might have done it as a way to get his attention as he was still avoiding eye contact.
Yeah, with Masachika never really responding to it, and the fact he knows Russian remaining a forever-secret, what is the point really? I think this episode is really only the first time that he made use of information that he got from Alya in Russian by suggesting the names. Overall though, it hasn't really been that different than just having an internal dialog.
Agreed with others in this thread. This show needs to do more romcom and less Machiavellian politics centered around the student council. I feel like there is plenty of drama to go into with all of their complicated family situations that the added drama around the student council just gets in the way.
