I Loved the MV they produced.
Great way to end this season. Looking forward to the next one with black-eye Ruby.

They showed a 15-year lie proposal at the end
Overall I enjoyed this show, but I think the student counsil elections stuff took too much time, I was more interested in the little interactions between Masachika, Alya and the others. I'm still looking forward to the next season.
Also did Alya notice Masachika reacted to what she said in Russian in the end?
We're finally going to see more Ruby, she has been a side character so far.
Date episode! I was surprised at how confident Alya was, this time Masachika was the one who got embarrased.
I thought the grandpa would reveal that Masachika could speak Russian, or recognize Alya's mom due to his grandson being childhood friends with Masha.
So the play is over. And in the Kana vs Akane duel... they both lost?
Aqua had to suffer more than he expected when he joined the play, but in the end it was worth it, since it allowed him to get closer to his dad, and Ai's murderer.
This episode was really amazing. The beginning where we had the view of the audience was cool, but the peak was during the Melt scene.
It was great to see he finally getting his moment, to see him pulling that move from the Tokyo Blade manga out of nowhere and making the crowd go wild. I also loved the animation during his entire scene, especially that last minute.
But it looks like we will only see the showdown between Kana and Akane in the next episode.
@hitori_gotoh@ani.social I'm liking the OP more and more :o
:D
Something seems to be brewing with Melt as well.
Yeah he sees himself as not worth of being in this cast, but he seems to be working really hard to improve, so let's hope he puts up a good performance.
I guess Aqua is not the only one who needs some help
Next episode is Kana vs Akane. Genius child actor vs current generation genius actor. Which side are you on?
So my favorite OPs and EDs this season are:
- Oshi no Ko OP and ED
- My Deer Friend Nokotan OP
- Senpai is an Otokonoko OP and ED
- Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian EDs
- Makeine: Too Many Losing Heroines! OP and ED
- SHOSHIMIN: How to Become Ordinary OP and ED
The next general thread is going to be this season's OP/ED thread. So look forward to it!
I will :D
It's good to see they were able to revise the script in time. Apparently all they needed to do was to put the scriptwriter and the author together. But now Aqua needs to overcome his PTSD to be able to act his part, and he only has 2 weeks until the show.
About the OP, the first time I heard it I wasn't a big fan of it, maybe I had my expectations too high after the first one, but it's growing on me and it's now one of my favourites of this season.
It was a fun trip from Agano to Ikebukuro, but unfortunately it's over. Would like to have an extra episode to show the aftermath, since apparently not everything went back to normal.
I enjoyed this show, it was cool to see everyone overcome their fears and be happy with themselves and, in the end, we got a satisfying ending.
Goodbye JELEE, and thank you for all your amazing songs and great moments you gave us 💙
My favourites were Jellyfish Can’t Swim in the Night OP and all its EDs (each episode has a different ED except episode 1). If I had to choose one I would probably pick the 2nd. I also liked Konosuba OP and Train to the End of the World both OP and ED.
"I'm not even sure what I want to be or what my interests are."
Yeah, I can relate to this, I've been like this before (and I still am to an extent). At one point I've felt like I had no personality and I was just matching the person I had in front of me.
Anyway, great episode, it's already one of my favourite shows this season. Look forward to the next episode.
So here is my top 3 of this season:
-
Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End - It's a masterpiece. From the cool fight scenes to the calm moments between Frieren, Fern and Stark, everything is amazing. It's one of the best shows I have ever watched and I plan to read the manga soon.
-
Solo Leveling - The plot could be resumed as "weak loser reincarnates as someone who could be the most powerful being in the world" (sounds like an average isekai). But the story is actually interesting and it also has cool fight scenes.
-
Villainess Level 99 - Yumiella 🖤
I see everyone praising The Apothecary Diaries, so I'll give it a try when I have time
Wow, so Hikaru Kamiki is sponsoring a movie that portays him as the villain? I wonder what he is planning, and if Aqua is aware of it
