At Trump's request, to avoid "election interference," his sentencing is delayed until after the election

What a load of bullshit.

It's wonderful how the justice system attempts to be seen as "impartial and non-partisan" only when it will favor Trump.

Delaying sentencing is itself election interference!

LOL, what the fuck. American justice is a joke.

I read elsewhere (in the opinion of a trial lawyer) that this may actually be a good sign – that the judge may be considering jail time, which might be strongly challenged in the lead-up to the election, and so delaying it may make that sentence more actionable. That it seems unlikely a monetary sentence would have been delayed.

I hate to have hope at this point, but I do anyhow.
