Drying hops in a dehydrator
Drying my hops in a dehydrator anyone ever done this? How long does it take?
Must smell amazing
5 0 ReplyIt does! It got a bit hot though so I re-ordered the trays and left the cover off. Hopefully I didn't burn too much of the flavor off the bottom layers.

For things like mushrooms it's taken me about 24hrs to get fully dry. I'd guess a little longer for the dehydrator being packed that densely.
3 0 ReplyClever!
2 0 ReplyI've not tried drying hops, but at a guess with a full set of trays, 24-48hrs of running time depending on how long you want to store them.
2 0 ReplyCould you use this on green coffee beans I wonder
2 0 ReplyFar longer than you’d think…
It took me soooo much time and so many vacuum bags to bag them up
2 0 ReplyI only have a grocery bag to do so maybe two batches. One seems done already after about 6 hours.
