All these fucking posts about Sync
- i just joined lemmy a few days ago (after having signed up around the time reddit was protesting the api changes), and then migrated from reddit when Sync for lemmy released. And I love how easy it was to switch (apart from some ideas that are different, the fediverse and all that)
  
  Alright. That's great, but its not the only content I want outta Lemmy... I ain't join Lemmy to just read about Lemmy clients all day
- What is sync?
  
  Android app for lemmy (previously reddit).
  Has subscription (which removes ads and enables more features) or one time payment (for no ads only).
  Gets bashed / made fun of because of this and because its not open source.

- Too broad. There's garbage thrash and good thrash, just like there is with every musical genre, metal or otherwise.
  Except goregrind. All reasonable people can agree that goregrind is garbage
