So will the oil company be required to reimburse every expense texas spent fighting the fire?
- "I love this state," said the oil executive, as he lit a cigar with a burning $100 bill, and then tossed it into a forest.
  "Did you do that?" asked a passing cop.
  "No," said the oil executive, "it was a Mexican immigrant."
So...Texas then. Freedom country with no regulations.
- Privatized profits. Socialized risk.
But surely the oil companies will regulate themselves, right? The Free Market will just prefer responsible companies, right? And anyone who doesn't like the lack of regulation is always free to just leave Texas, right?
I didn't realize there was a big enough leopard to eat Texas' face.
But if we regulate it, how will we breed innovation?

This the part of the story where billionaires drive off laughing.
Damn that’s crazy. Too bad I don’t give a shit if Texas burns.
- Damn, that's a truly disgusting thing to say. Millions of completely normal average people in this state. I don't care how bad a government is you can't just go around saying you don't care if the land burns, the land didn't do anything wrong and the people don't deserve to deal with that shit.
