Performance benchmarks for mobile parts are meaningless without power consumption data.
- True. If this is around a 30 watt tdp, it would have amazing power consumption numbers (for reference, they were comparing it to a 1070 max q, which could have a max tdp of 115 watts).
  
  Wikipedia lists the 780M as 35-65W so 30W sounds a little too optimistic.
- I can guarantee you that with a Radeon running at full speed, it isn't going to be long. But seeing a browser time benchmark would be nice.
I guess this is a sign that I need to update my rig...
- Still rocking a gtx 1060 in my desktop and my laptop.
  
  It's a solid card, I finished the Witcher 3 on that. Just couldn't max it out.
  
  when integrated graphics gets to an rtx2080, then its a sure sign for me.
  I'll still be playing factorio on my rig for years to come though lol :P
Where is the point? One is a dedicated GPU, the other is an integrated graphics engine. One is for gamers (or was many years ago), the other for people using Word or Excel.
- I think the point is, it doesn't have to just be for Excel anymore.
  I can actually play hunt showdown on my 13" Ryzen framework laptop. That's insane. This is saying it'll be a lot better on the upcoming chips, that's even more insane.

- I'm still rocking my Vega 56 on my main rig and now have to realize that it will soon be less powerful than AMD's iGPUs. Damn.
This rly interesting. I have the 780m and it seems sufficient for most games at 60fps but this could help push me up to 120 or 90.
- Was hoping to build a pc, the gpu shit show kept me away for years. Maybe a laptop would do.
  
  I have system76 but cant rly recomend cuz the touchpad is not great and charging situation is bad. Thinking framework hopefully they land this hardware.
That's actually an amazing achievement considering how popular the 1070/1650 are.
