Oh sweet, my old Empire Earth box!
  • I never did it on steam but years back I contacted origin support and they let me register all my old ea games keys and still have them on the ea app. Not great but I thought it was cool.

They let me do all of them except battlefield Vietnam. They said they didn't have that one available to download at the time.

  • What industry do you work in and what are the LPT the general public should know about it?
  • Normally when you finish placing the concrete you always have extra in the truck. So we pour out a pile or fill up the wheel barrow with extra. So say a dog walks in it and the concrete is still really wet. You just grab some of the extra concrete with a shovel, toss it out into the holes, and run the bull float over it again. Concrete guys are really good at tossing something from a shovel and hitting their target haha.

Barricades are nice to just stop people from doing it in the first place but unless you're doing some solid barricades you always have someone who ignores them.

When the concrete is pretty hard but still wet enough to leave tracks is when it's more difficult to fix.

  • [Discussion] Do you still use your Steam Deck much?
  • I go back and forth. Past few weeks used it a bunch but hadn't touched it in a month. Sometimes I start a game on my deck then think this would be so much better with mouse and keyboard then just play it on my laptop.

I also play allot of strategy and building games. I still think the touchpads are awesome and work great for those types of games but like when I play Kenshi I assign the back buttons too and it ends up hurting my hands after awhile.

  • If you or somebody you know ever fell for a romance scam, how did you or the person fall for it?
  • I knew a guy who was recently divorced. Talking to some girl on Facebook. He sent her nudes when she asked. She threatened to send them to all of his Facebook friends unless he paid. He said he didn't give a fuck. Then nothing else happened.

  • App to share real time location with boyfriend?
  • Not an app but I use a Garmin inreach mini when I go backpacking. You can set it to automatically share your location at set intervals. Also not sure how Garmin handles data so not sure about the privacy aspect either.

  • Tell me what it means
  • I live in New Mexico. Growing up we would get a decent amount of snow. It would regularly snow on Halloween. This year we got about 2" of snow and most of that came down a couple of weeks ago. I spent the majority of the winter in a t shirt and a hoodie. Most mornings I'd have my hoodie then by 11:00 am I'd be in my t shirt.

  • Needing some help to get started running.

Trying to see if anyone has a routine for someone totally new to running. I'm a big fan of "this week do this, build up to do this, etc..." I'm in my thirties and from a young age until I was about 20 I had severe asthma. I've never been good at running. Asthma doesn't bother me anymore but I'm needing something to do while traveling for work. I work construction all across the state and come home on the weekends.

If anyone has some ideas that would be great. When I do stuff I tend to over do it then it then it's hard to make myself go out again.
