  Tampering with a corpse is a second-degree felony in the US, the place where remarks regarding Ronald Reagan would be relevant. If this is how the citizens that create the law view physically defiling a corpse, it goes without reason that encouraging violence on a corpse would be low regarded as well. Additionally, incitement to violence is a criminal offense in many places.
  Needless to say, it is very easy to not encourage violence. Just don't do it.

It's hard to tell if the ban was justified of not from that message.
- All I said was "he should be shot" about a picture of Reagan. Who was shot... And lived and is dead for the past twenty years.

  Openly advocating/encouraging violence, even just against those who are already dead, teaches young impressionable minds that that sort of behaviour is acceptable. They don't see the nuances of it being a joke / being about someone who can't suffer from those words; they just see that speaking about others like that is ok. They then carry that behaviour into their own lives and treat real currently living people like that.
  Ban justified. Think on it for your 7 days, and come back a better person.
