Tabletop Painting
- Sandworm from Dune: War for Arrakis
One of the Sandworms from the recent board game by CMON - Dune: War for Arrakis.
- Undead dismounted cuirassier for Flintloque
These are my first minis from Alternative Armies, and are part of their Flintloque game system.
- Some more Ashigaru
Completed some more Ashigaru for use in various games. Tried using paint pens for the first time; it went 'ok'. Definitely quicker, though less control.
STL by Saga Minis on MMF.
- Ghoulish guys
Quick paint of these ghoulish guys this afternoon. Loads of fun, with each model having personality. STL by knucklebones minis.
- Some guards I printed and painted
The other day I posted some goblins I made and painted, this weekend I painted the guards that I made for my upcoming campaign. The painting is getting a lot better and I am very proud of these ones.
Let me know what you think!
- First army painting
I've painted a couple of figures over the past year or two but this is my first army having tried to get into it a lot more these past few weeks.
I did them all one by one going one colour at a time. Printed on my 3d printer, comments and suggestions are very welcome. I would love to get a lot better!
- Some more Vendels I finished this afternoon
Really enjoyed painting these. Sculpts by Medbury Miniatures
- I had a scheduled power outage today, so i set myself up outside
Painting some cars from thunder road vendetta
- It's an owl and it's a bear so it must be an owlbear
Last project took me almost a year. This took less than three hours spread on four days. I like the eyes.

- Vendel warriors
Here are some Vendel warriors that I just finished. Not sure what I'll use them for yet, just liked the sculpts. STLs from Medbury Miniatures.
- Replacement brush for Tamiya Extra Thin
Okay, so this isn't painting, but I figured someone would know something about this. What kind of material us the Tamiya extra thin brush made of? I tried to use some cheap synthetic paint brushes with it, but they hardened and broke apart. Anyone have any luck finding a decent brush to use when applying extra thin for assembly?
- Rogue from Marvel United
I'm having so much fun painting these chibi minis.
It's got me painting more than ever.
- Should I invest in washes as a beginner?
So I'm getting ready to dive into the world of finally painting my Star Wars Legion minis. I'm planning on getting an Army Painter speedpaint 2.0 set to start. Should I also buy the wash set? I'm not sure if it would improve my results as a beginner, though I imagine I will want them if I keep up with painting. I'm intending to start by getting this Army Painter's stuff:
Speedpaint most wanted 2.0 set
Most wanted brush set
Matte white primer
Matte varnish
Project paint Station
- I painted my Eldar starter box in colour scheme by Midwinter Minis
Made a lot of mistakes such as magnetizing all arms and choosing a bone white colour scheme for the weapons which shows tiny errors immeadiately. All in all I like how they look from far away. Just don't pick up any for inspection.

- happy with how my alpha legion army is turning out
I'm still pretty new to painting minis, but this has been a fun and pretty simple color scheme that looks (imo) pretty good too!
- I Painted a Conker inspired Roper and some rocks for DnD night with some buds. I can’t wait to see their faces.

> I printed and painting this Roper and the rocks for DnD night with my buds. > > I was inspired by Conkers Bad Fur Day for the color scheme of the Roper. > > Image Description: Pictured is a group of 4 printed and painted cone shaped rocks with a cone shaped creature in the middle that's brown with one red eye and yellow teeth. The color scheme is inspired by a boss called the Great and Mighty Poo (a giant pile of poop) from Conkers Bad Fur Day.
- I spent the morning painting a few skeletons for my DnD group, I'm happy with how well they came out.

- What color primer to use?
So I'm about to begin painting for the first time, but I'm not sure what colors to buy. I play Star Wars Legion so I'll be painting a bunch of stormtroopers, death troopers, and other very monocolor minis. Should I use black and white primers for them? Or do neutral grey and paint the colors?
Bonus points if anyone can tell me if wildspire minis are good for a first time project.
- Need Help Deciding: Gamemaster Character Paint Set or Reaper Miniatures Learn to Paint Kit?
Hey, painters! I'm in a bit of a dilemma and could really use your advice. I've been thinking about getting into the miniature painting hobby, but I can't decide between the Gamemaster Character Paint Set and the Reaper Miniatures Learn to Paint Kit. My main goal is to explore this hobby and determine whether it's something I enjoy and want to continue investing my time and money in.

- 15mm Skeleton Warrior
Recently been painting up Forest Dragon's Warmaster miniatures scaled to 15mm for custom scaled Frostgrave and Oathmark, and wanted to try out Army Painter's new 2.0 speedpaints, and I've been pleasantly surprised by the results! They dry a bit faster than I'd like, to the point of drying on-brush, but other than that, no complaints.
Still needs basing!
