  • Since it is BTRFS, even though GNU yes is working at the glorious 3GiB/s speed, disk is only slowly filling up. In the last 15 minutes, 25 whole gigabytes were wasted.

    10 GiB has been filled on the host disk since it goes BTRFS -> QCOW -> BTRFS and all of that has compression individually.

    Host now constantly thermal throttles due to 3 instances of disk compression running in parallel under full blast.
