Florida prosecutors knew Epstein raped teenage girls 2 years before cutting deal, transcript shows
  • The investigations uncovered Epstein’s close ties to former President Bill Clinton and Britain’s Prince Andrew, as well as his once friendly relationship with former President Donald Trump

Dear AP, why the fuck are you downplaying Trump's ties to Epstein? Trump hung out with child diddlers to diddle children. He was hilariously cagey when asked if he'd release Epstein materials as president.

There may not be enough evidence to get him in court, but he should be held in the same group as Clinton and Andrew.

  • Have you ever come back to a company after leaving (e.g. a few years later)? How did it go?
  • I didn't say we always needed to burn bridges. In fact, I don't think you should ever burn a bridge. That's a rare scenario where you might want to return... but I'm also curious why you wanted to see how they do things at 10k+ orgs when you were happy at your current employment - that seems like quite the leap of faith to take when everything in your life was perfect.

  • TW : The most vicious crime
  • I think, additionally, that children, being still developing, suffer far more ill long term effects from emotional trauma than adults. That isn't to say that any rape is okay - but the damage to a developing mind is much more deep.

  • What else can be done to defeat Trump in November other than just telling people "vote"?
  • Call your democratic politicians (if you have any) Governor/Senators/House Rep and advocate for pressure for Biden to step down gracefully from the ticket... then prepare to vote for Biden in November because that's a hell of a longshot.

If you're talking to people on the fence about voting or not focus more on Biden's policy achievements instead of Trump being a boogie man. Anyone liberal who is considering sitting out this election has already internally decided that Trump is an acceptable outcome for trying to change the two party system or to avoid dirtying their hands voting for Biden to continue genocide - pushing against people's fervently held beliefs is a waste of energy... the media really hasn't put much attention on things that Biden has accomplished so talking those things up won't make people defensive - you never want to directly challenge someone's fervently held beliefs because it is extremely difficult to shift those.

  • Have you ever come back to a company after leaving (e.g. a few years later)? How did it go?
  • There are many scenarios to leave a company - in yours you were denied an avenue for self development and if the company has done that once they'll do it again.

Not all companies are good. If one is shitty enough for you to abandon the relationships you built there it isn't worth going back to.

  • Would America be as divided if Trump lost to Hillary in 2016?
  • Not at all, Trump's presidency provided a false air of legitimacy for those fringe beliefs. And his success forced politicians to morph into his sycophants - if he'd failed the GOP would assume that going that extreme was unpalatable to Americans.

  • How to know you'll turn out trans?
  • If you have a partner it's the less likely outcome that they'll reject your new gender identity. Gender is a spectrum and we're all a lot more interesting than just what our gender is anyways. Someone who was attracted to you was attracted to a lot more than just your gender expression so, on the whole, rather little about you is changing when you come out as trans.

I am not trans so I can't talk to that realization but I am non-conforming and coming into that identity was mostly a relief. I had to cloak a lot and found myself pretty distinct from a lot of the stereotypes about men - I was married at the time and my partner didn't bat an eye.

  • Fabricated Conversations

Just a sanity check here but... yall ever been mid conversation with someone and confused that they've forgotten a thing you talked about... until you realize that previous conversation took place entirely in your head?
