I understand geometrically they have the same number of holes but in my head straws still have two holes because they have an "inside" so both entrances to the inside have to be a hole.
IMO he seems like a nice guy and is using his wealth and influence to do something positive.
I personally think he could be using it for better things, but they wouldn't be as flashy and probably wouldn't be as sustainable for him. Plus perfection is the enemy of good or whatever the saying is.

The dev is making a kbin app apparently but I'm holding out hope for a lemmy one.
I'm using Connect. It's the only app I've foujd so far that has a list view which is pretty similar to RIF's.
