  • Grandma cancelled July 4th because of this and fire. I wish she could just visit us since we live where it's 72 degrees, but she just can't make the drive at her age.

Why do elderly always seem to retire where it's consistently over 100?

  • New Crazy Taxi title will be an open-world, massively multiplayer AAA game, according to Sega
  • I mean, I don't know about "open world" being a good idea, but a crazy taxi take on Fall Guys would be pretty amazing. Throw 99+ people into various scenarios, all behind their own taxi, could have a lot of crazy outcomes. They just need to find the right balance for shenanigans and they'd have a solid multiplayer hit.

Trying more than a structured arcade-style approach would probably hamstring those efforts though; it ain't GTAV.

  • Undecided voters say they now support Joe Biden after debate
  • I mean, a sample of 8 is not really a sample, but I can see it being true for some undecided voters if those voters are savvy to know a lie when they see one (plus not everyone cares about the age narrative).

That said, how is anyone undecided at this point? I wouldn't exactly trust them to breathe and walk at the same time, let alone vote informed.

Doom and gloom aside, we're still a few months out so things happening now aren't going to make a huge difference. I just wish this wasn't all up to indecisive people in indecisive states...

  • CNN's debate was no fair fight
  • Salon always has a bias, but I also can't help but think he was on Sudafed or something. I also have seen him at other things and he's generally less... raspy. Doesn't change that it was stupid to go on like that, though.

I fortunately skipped the debate and only watched highlights, though. I already hate "debates" as far as I remember since, at best, it's just fluffy sound bites and vague promises, and at worst, a series of unrefuted lies. This sounds like everything I hate about typical "debates" turned up to 11.

  • California to make financial literacy classes a requirement to graduate high school
  • Key word is "a", as in one.

Although you generally are solid in 2 to 4 range, the more important thing as it turns out is (aside from prompt payments) to make sure the credit limit is high. Those store cards with 300 limits are looked down upon.

  • Chrono Trigger (SNES 1995)
  • I second that if for no other reason than the encyclopedia functions. Before we had retroachevements to track things like endings, it gave me a sense of completion getting all the entries.

  • Literal
  • I like to imagine she'll be dating a Ray Romano and this'll really freak him out. Alternatively, pick a common name, write a very lengthy tattoo addressing said person, and hope it lands on them.

    Isn't that right, Micheal?
