  • racist, wife beating

    police

    What's with the redundancy?

  • Yeah but they're extremists and terrorists who want to control all aspects of the media, stop women from having rights over their bodies and return to their place in society serving men, criminalize everything that goes against their religious beliefs and restrict voting and democracy to preserve their 'values', carry guns with them everywhere and fanatically praise their leaders.

Err, there's some differences somewhere I'm sure..

  • even a conservative judge would have their hand forced by the law and public interest

Lol. Yeah, because the law and public interest has stopped them before.

  • It's for the person paying for the hosting and maintaining the server to decide what they want their server to do

  • When I see comments like this I always have to wonder.. so, you don't oppose the government using it's resources to support the well-being of it's citizens. So then what is making you conservative? Your desire to oppose other fundamental rights and liberties of others? Wanting corporations to continue to steal from the wealth of the many for the sake of unimaginable wealth for the few? A fear of others who freely exist with other values then your own and the inability to cope with their success? Or thrive in their perils as a way to compensate for the inadequacies you feel in your own life? The desire to maintain the status quo of women and minorities being subservient to old white men? To control other people's bodies or worrying an unhealthy amount about their genitals and what they do with them?

  • Idk, great question. Maybe it was the cult leader?

[Twice impeached, ex] president donald trump repeatedly said he wanted his supporters to fight Congress on accepting the electoral college results that showed Joe Biden won.

“We’re going to walk down to the Capitol, and we’re going to cheer on our brave senators, and congressmen and women,” Trump told his supporters shortly before the Capitol assault. “We’re probably not going to be cheering so much for some of them because you’ll never take back our country with weakness. You have to show strength, and you have to be strong.”

The words Trump used to urge his supporters to show up and “fight” on his behalf Jan. 6.

'We will stop the steal' 'We will never give up. We will never concede. It doesn't happen' "You will have an illegitimate president. That is what you will have, and we can't let that happen." 'If you don't fight like hell you're not going to have a country anymore'

“Let’s have trial by combat,” said Trump’s lawyer Rudy Giuliani, warming up the crowd for Trump.

Hmm. Who was leading this failed coup?

  • The lawsuit against them is regarding allegedly using 'trade secrets' and proprietary assets from Nexon, where a number of the team members previously worked. After Nexon killed Project P3 the IRONMACE devs left the company and started their own game based on the premise of an extraction dungeon crawler. After seeing their early success in alpha, Nexon got jealous and sad so the submit a frivolous lawsuit with a cease and desist / DMCA takedown on DaD on Steam.

When claiming stolen assets in their initial filing, Nexon cited publicly purchased engine store assets which is obviously ridiculous.

Both IRONMACE and Nexon are based in Korea so they are still in their legal battle there and as such DaD isn't currently released in Korea. I guess the US case is either dismissed or at least the cease and desist was lifted.

Long story short, nothing to do with Bethesda or elder scrolls assets. IRONMACE made an awesome game and their old employer is sad they can't cash in on something they didn't contribute to at all. All my homies hate Nexon.

  • For what it's worth, half of them are essentially 'water is wet'. Although as far as thoughts in the shower go, I guess that's fairly reasonable.

  • Yes how absolutely unreasonable that an obese and nearly 80 year old criminal with multiple felony charges against him for some of the most serious crimes against our nation goes to a secure prison and serves his sentence like any normal person would. Wow. Relax guys.

  • Especially since quantum threading individual tabs, I've never really had an issue with Firefox performance.

Individual site performance and things like DNS over https and ddos mitigation add more latency than anything I'll notice from the browser level. And I'm happy to wait an extra second if it means having more control of my data and my privacy.

  • You may want to consider adding nofail and x-systemd.device-timeout opinions on the mount as well if the NFS isn't critical to the device booting, and speed up your boot process a bit.

  • What benefit does making 'extremely harmful drugs such as meth' illegal provide? In the US meth is illegal. In the US meth use is an epidemic. Prohibition doesn't stop people from accessing or using drugs. It just puts a legal constraint that adds fear of repercussion and social stigma on users that is another barrier to overcome when attempting to seek help and treatment. Not to mention illegal drug trades mean potentially dangerous, unregulated products and the crime that drug trade is often associated with.

  • That's what stuck out to you, not her face looking like a Sim?

  • For the 'average' user you're suggesting to be helping none of these are remotely difficult to address..

"I'm confused about antivirus," Windows handles it

"I keep forgetting to check on updates for the program I use so much," The apps you use will ask to update when you use them

"I'm unsure if I'm on the correct site to download an exe file from," The website for the application

"I keep getting ads in my taskbar," Disabled in literally 3 seconds at install and never think about it again (yeah it's dumb it happens at all, fine)

"I was going to find a different browser to use but my computer dissuaded me from doing so," getfirefox.com. install & run. Click set default browser when it pops up.

If you can't answer a simple one sentence answer to an easy question I don't think it's Windows fault. I say this as somehow who has helped tech illiterate people of all sorts on Windows, Linux, and Unix systems over the past 25+ years.

  • From that pence quote.. I highly doubt trump knows the words 'legislature' or 'determination'

  • Plus addressing (your-email+somearbitrarytag@domain.com) is also a nice tool at your disposal. Helps track where the spam is coming from. I've found few/none trim it when storing addresses so it consistently works.

  • To what end? Probably every eula/tos you click through has concerning shit that is against your best interest. Either you use the product or you don't.

  • 'mate', 'wankery'...

I take it your country is totally free of any atrocities and has since Its inception been fair and impartial in all of its international dealings.
