The basic idea is that I spawn a bunch of nodes with rando m velocitins and check the distance between each other at every frame. If the distance is within a certain radius, draw a line.

To display it in the background I just have a script that launches it on startup, and a couple of rules in AwesomeWM and picom to make it transparent, unfocusable and borderless

all of the fancy features that other terminals provide, I get with Tmux, so any emulator for me. I like transparent themes and that's easy to set up in Alacritty, so that's what I usually get

pretty sad to see the 19s dropping so much, I liked them quite a bit. to be fair, I haven't seen many fan works with them so far, outside of Artificial Dream in Arcadia, so they didn't get much traction after 19 itself. here's hoping that the community comes around to them in the future

afaik, it's not really a myth. it does actually have plenty of phytoestrogens and it's often recommended as a supplement for HRT. Probably not enough to have much of an effect on its own though

the thing about hexbear isn't just that they're far left, but that they are violently auth-left, and live in a huge echo-chamber, as most instances defederated from them. plenty of far left people are actually very grounded and human compared to them, see slrpnk.net and the an-soc instances. while they have strong opinions, they won't immediately wish death upon you if your views clash

and yeah, i3 won't run on Windows. there are some hacky implementations though, like FancyWM which just work on top of Explorer
