@CanadaPlus this is referring to far in the future. In the long scale of things, developer time is not so limited. Fedi doesn't necessarily have a time limit after all, it's just going to go stronger over time. I don't see a stopping point.

@emi makes me wonder how different adoption for RCS or iMessage would be if they were completely separate apps from SMS. Right now someone just wants to send a text and then wonders "why is my texts missing all my features?", and then someone will reply, "oh cuz you need a Android/iPhone"

@Silviecat44 @peanuts4life they really didn't, no normal person bought them. It was just venture capitalist pushing it. It was the complete opposite of grass roots, which is why it crashed 97% when VCs pulled out. Very normal!
