I kinda used to like twitter to find related stuff to my interests and content creators in a more digestible form than sifting through subreddits, but nowadays its nigh unusable.
Der letzte post kam auf .org also das isses nicht :(
I think thats by design. Microblogging vs Forums.
Ths former, like the bird app is to yell into the void and hear what others yell while lemmy and reddit is built around it's comment sections.
Mastodon doesn't do it for me, most of what I find interesting isn't really... there yet.
So my mains are Instagram > Discord > Lemmy > Reddit
In that order I'd say.
Instagram is just the most "personal" social network. I watch my friends' stories, share some of my own here and there.. It's close to how we used facebook back when it wasn't a cesspit of ads and "pages".
Discord is where I keep in direct contact with most of my friends, besides like messengers. Reddit is for specific problem solving and random hobby content.
Lemmy is filling the same niche but I just scroll it more than I do reddit for news, articles, hobby stuff...
This meme happened like 15 years ago lol. This meme is awaiting peaceful rest.
Someone posted the original down here. Still weird. Same with his beach pics from a bit ago
Don't get me wrong, I'm against judging appearances but I'll take any chance to shit on musk
More like three weeks ago by that measurement
Pretty much the classic way of things:
"i gotta work out -> I'll do it daily! -> oh no i missed one day -> might as well give up"
When in reality going once a week is better than not going at all. Going three times a week is difficult enough, especially when you have other responsibilities or hobbies.
Thats when the gains are growing! :'D
Asking for help us a sign if strength, not weakness.
I know that because i find it extremely hard to ask for help.
Rest days are important! Depending on what you're doing of course but ya need to rest
I’m really convinced everyone in my life really sees me as a full time chore
I can all but guarantee you're the only one in your life who thinks that. I know someone a little bit like that (thinking everyone is just being nice when they're actually annoyed) and it's steady work to make them feel loved.
We don't do that shit because we have to - we don't - we do it out of real love.
Suicidal thoughts aren't a scheme, you didn't chose to feel this way. Which means you're not an abuser for feeling them.
The rest if your paragraph goes a bit off the rails, not sure how literal you mean it though.
There's no Truman Show, no psyop, no great charade.
What people do in real life when they hate someone is they stop engaging. If any of your friends got tired of you you'd notice. They'd disappear from your circles.
Lastly, please take care of yourself.
You seem aware of your struggles, so if you are in a position able to seek help please do so. No, you're not wasting anyone's time, it's ltierally therapists job to figure out how to help people.
They chose this job, and they will do it as long as necessary.
In that case, maybe check if a nearby gym has free trials or affordable sessions with a coach.
Sometimes exercises are a bit unintuitive and need attention to specific movements.
So i should start building my free energy pirate station soon? :p
Yeah im curious about it but it sounds like lossy-er solar farming.. Perhaps its about surface area and around the clock availability?
Now i imagine pirate power radiostations..
Almost like Vraska and Jace from MtG
Ignore my previous attemot at this comment, I'm too tired
Basically Title.
Been to Wacken recently and a friend and I were discussing what could be seen as the biggest name in metal currently. Since we're "old", we could only come up with yesteryears titans.
Are there any more recent names that currently dominate the industry? Get played on day to day radio like our childhood bands did?
