I missed that you were running a private server vanilla client so probably not apples to apples - I did get retail wow w/battle.net running in bottles in about 15 minutes with zero messing around though, thanks to all the people that brought that up as an option!
I’ve had it working for months and just today it wouldn’t launch the game from lutris so don’t feel bad. I’m going to give bottles a try tomorrow, but when I get back to the computer I’ll share my settings.
They can break the session every 30 seconds, which would be fine for a normal web session but mess with your wg tunnel
They are talking about how whoever or whatever you are trying to get around can still mess with your wg tunnels even if you are masking them as https
Cool stuff, what do you do on your system most of the time? I've messed around with open and freebsd, all hosting stuff though. It's been over 10 years since I tried running freebsd on the desktop, seem to remember sound being a big pita to deal with.
I've got a 13" 13th gen on order, really digging the idea of upgrading easily. I hope they release a 2k 120hz display someday, that's the only thing I'm not digging about the framework
This sounds like a common issue with Nvidia cards and people running dual monitors with different refresh rates.
Here's a link discussing it https://forums.developer.nvidia.com/t/linux-xorg-multiple-monitors-limits-the-framerate-of-faster-120-144hz-monitors-to-60hz/72083/6
The link doesn't work :/
I'm really interested to see what happens at the end of this week. I have a group of friends that all hang out in discord and out of the group (about 12 of us) I'm the only one that's moved on from Reddit. Every time I see one of them post a Reddit link I want to say something but I just keep quiet and don't follow the links. I'm guessing this is just going to blow over for 90% of the people on Reddit and I'm fine with that but it is somewhat depressing to me folks aren't as bothered by what they are doing to third party apps.
