Quite funny to see that a company of 40 people shows multibillion enterprises the proper way of making laptops. Well done, framework.
Yeah, each time I "subscribe" for sth I use a prepaid card. Once the transaction is made, it destroys itself.
let's fucking goo
Same. I had S3, then LG v10 and both lost support after 2 years and because unusable. So I bought iphone xr and now it’s my 6th year with it. And it works fine, I just had to replace the battery.
I would avoid asus/msi altogether because their build quality is usually sub par. My friend has asus and during last 2 years, it was sent to RMA 5 times.
I personally recommend frameworks or thinkpads.
That’s valid. Thanks for clarification.
Sorry, but then I do not understand your logic. To me it seems like you are saying that people should be able to burn Quran (because freedom of speech) but at the same time you believe that burning a trans flag* should not be tolerated. Where is the difference? I am not saying that your opinion is incorrect, I am just unsure what your stand is because suddenly when your logic is applied to a different situation, you refuse to respond
Also, if you believe that ad hominem will make your argument look stronger, then you are clearly wrong.
*Just to make sure: I support all LGBTI rights, I just used them as a comparison.
I would not necessarily say it’s because people don’t understand Muslims. I myself have nothing in common with Muslims, as well.
More likely the case is that there are 2 approaches to free speech. First one advocates for absolute free speech whilst the second is more aligned with "my liberty ends where yours begins" phrase.
Would you also consider chants such as "death to all Jews/gays/black people" or actions such as burning trans flag as freedom of speech and do you believe it should be tolerated?
So the general issue why burning such a copy should be considered incorrect is the fact that Quran, apart from being just another book, is a symbol of Islamic religion. Hence why it appears offensive to Muslims. Same logic applies to other symbols. Do you think it’s absolutely okay to come to a square and burn LGBTI or BLM flags. If you were a gay and saw someone else burning a rainbow flag, would you feel safe at such place?
I personally believe that no discrimination against people based on religion, race, color of skin is appropriate. So I believe that any islamophobic symbol is incorrect.
However, same rule applies to the other side. No islamic minorities should show symbols which could be disrespectful towards different people.
I have and it still does not relate to Israel. Death of 15k whilst the number of Palestinians is 5 million is not genocide. Surely, it’s terrible but it’s not a genocide especially considering how many of them died due to lack of bunkers in Gaza.
I have.
Not at all. Read the definition of ethnic cleansing.
Sorry but what? If Hamas wants to return them, why did they take them in the first place?
Bibi made an especially terrible decision when making a coalition with the extreme nationalists.
adblocks make this world a better place
Despite the fact Gaza needs to be solved and terrorist organizations like Hamas need to be removed, a day for civilians to leave it so so so short.
It has been recognized as palestine for a logn long time (since rome), though state was never present. Palestine as a state never existed and thoughts about creating a palestinian state began after Ww2
Hello, I have to say memmy is far superior to the official interface. Brilliant thanks for making it.
Maybe I would suggest getting rid of the 3 button layout and reducing it to 2 if possible. Right top seems way too full. !
Especially the 3 dots show only 1 option. So the last 2 can be imho merged.

Hello, some people have told me that it is possible to see lemmy posts from mastodon. To me it makes a lot of sense to have a single app for whole fediverse. However, mastodon is not doing a good job at this.
Each time I look at my mastodon home feed, it is spammed with completely random posts from lemmy which do not even show up in the organised view wefwef/memmy provide. Is there any way how to take care of this?
For lemmy I have found wefwef and memmy to be actually quite good. Interface is simple and easy to use, posts look organised. On mastodon it just feels far worse, especially with lemmy connected.
Are there any alternatives to the official mastodon app that would allow better integration with lemmy? To me it seems logical to have a single app for both platforms as they use the same principle.
Hello, is there at the moment any option to have lemmy, kbin and mastodon implemented in a single application? At the moment I am using wefwef.
