it's so idiotic. They firmly believe that places are sitting vacant because Landlords "fear" evergreen leases. No. Places are sitting vacant because people refuse to pay $2500+ a month for a shoebox. They don't get it. you lower prices and gasp people start paying. But all they can get through their thick as fuck skulls is a JG Wentworth commerical "I need cash now" they can't think of the long term. Would you rather a consistent and steady income on your rental property over years with a tenant that has happy to pay decent rent? or would you rather potentially make more for a single year and then sit on a vacant unit because no one wants to pay your prices. And these morons pick "you're saying I'll have a lot of money for one year?"
KDE will never use auto tiling as if you've followed any of the git issues regarding this KDE devs themselves have said they personally don't use tiling so they'll never add it to Plasma. Their compromise was basically setting pre-designated areas on your desktop to drag windows to. KDE wants users to use the mouse. they prefer it.
If you like using the mouse alot and you're more comfortable with clicking than yeah there's really no point in using a tiler.
If you're someone like me who doesn't like using a mouse and are used to VIM or Emacs for navigation then tilers make sense. In many cases using a keyboard is faster than using a mouse. OR you're a weirdo in the middle then you'd use Krohnkite on KDE.
Depends on how the D is fitted. If they haven't retrofitted or added any tech they've pillaged then it'll be like the fight in Yesterdays Enterprise so maybe like 5 Klingon Birds of Prey would be able to take them out. IF the ship has been fitted with stuff they've stolen from the Romulans or other places then the Enterprise could be something like the one in future timeline of All Good Things where they could easily spank the Klingons and Romulans.
If they're pillaging along the Neutral Zone than chances are they've now got a cloaking device. They've also probably added disrupters to the ship. Plus if they're selling whatever they're stealing to say like the Farangi or other races they would have likely gotten tech from all over the place.
So a standard Starfleet fitted Galaxy Class? not long, it's still technically a science and exploration vessel. an upgraded Galaxy with tech from several different races? could potentially make it the most powerful ship in the Alpha and Beta quadrant.

My friends girlfriend had a Win 10 laptop that "technically" wasn't supported to upgrade to 11 (It was) but she wasn't keen on moving to 11 as she didn't like the look of it (panel, etc).
So they both asked me for alternatives and I gave some options and we settled on Fedora KDE. She loves it. Especially when I showed her how she can really customize the look of it and for fun I showed her the Chicago95 stuff that someone did and she was like "wait, can I do that?"
She always loved the Windows XP look as that was essentially her childhood. So with a bit of work we got Plasma to look like Windows XP and she absolutely loves it. says it makes her feel like a kid again when she was really into pc tech stuff and now using linux has sparked that interest again. She's now watching Veronica Explains and Bread videos on youtube about linux shes learned a few terminal commands, how to do DNF (which she loves) to download programs, etc.
And because of her watching Bread youtube videos she's now asking me about switching to Arch. Her boyfriend is also making the switch too on his desktop. So I think next weekend I'm going to help them set up Arch or CachyOS on both their machines.
why would I want to go through the first Halo campaign yet again when I know I'm eventually going to get to the level with the flood where EVERY ROOM looks exactly the same and I'm just going to turn it off.

First Doug and Chow demand a RTO initiative at the plea of downtown Toronto business owners and commercial landlords so that people will, essentially, be forced to buy and eat downtown. It's not working as people simply refuse to pay. So their next brilliant idea is to get rid of bike lanes completely so that people driving will shop and eat downtown? that's not going to work either. people are STILL going to refuse to pay. This won't work and if anything is going to hurt businesses even more because people will simply continue to not shop downtown out of protest like they're already doing.
Why should I buy a $20 mediocre burger at some restaurant on king street when I can make my own lunch or a burger at home? why hop in my car and pay gas to go buy something when I can now just get it delivered on uber?
It's the same shit with their new proposals for renting. They refuse to acknowledge the ACTUAL issues and rather skirt around it with horrible infected bandaid solutions. We're all broke. We all can't afford the cost of living. Want us to live and work and shop downtown again? cool lower rents, lower the cost of everything, and the people will return and shop. Or, heaven forbid, wages increase across the board and STOP stagnating. You can't force people to buy more when they dont' have the money to buy more at an increased cost.
the fact that it's 2025 quickly moving into 2026 and our government still treats our indigenous peoples like second class citizens is just mind blowing.
that being said I'm a huge At The Drive-In fan and I liked the first couple Mars Volta albums, ok maybe just the first one but lets be fair here Cedric, you've released like a couple of great albums from two bands. I'd argue that Sparta has produced better stuff than Mars Volta.

Democrats REALLY need to get it through their thick skulls that the days of campaigning on working alongside people across the aisle are over. that the days of uniting a country are over. Remember, the other side has already KILLED democratic politicians. they even KILL people on their own side they don't agree with.
they need to take the position that while a certain group of people will never support them, they'll still work for them but not with them.
Don't be afraid to use references! I use pinterest myself and if I find a cool pose I'll use it as a reference to draw something else. Everyone does it. Heck I know people that will take an image into whatever drawing program they use, set the opacity of it to like 50%, place a layer over it, and then just trace out the body and create whatever from that.
I use references because for the life of me I can never think up a cool dynamic pose. I can come up with everything else but for some odd reason creating a pose off the top of my head eludes me.
honestly I would say it hasn't really gotten into it's groove/good until like a few months into this year. It's gotten A LOT better than what it was. So waiting until now to try it was a good call actually.
