Well, another reason to leave Reddit
To be honest, I think the focus is more on the context of the tragedy of the Titanic and the dangers of high-risk tourism, especially as we get close to space tourism, than a general focus on rich people in danger - like, it's not a Gabby Petito thing. It is true, literally no one cares about immigrants.

Hey, there - I'm a recent Reddit refugee, mostly because of Huffman's approach to the mods and users during the API crisis, not exactly because of the apps themselves (never used them). That was only the culminating reason I left Reddit, however, as it was becoming a right-wing cesspool in many ways. Settled on this instance after lurking for a while (although midwest.social is pretty great as well) and I'm enjoying the vibe so far. Specialty is memes, pop culture, and music. This is the kind of political misinformation and conspiracy groupthink I was hoping to escape by leaving Reddit, but this is yet another sympathetic article towards Putin among a number I’ve run into - some of these hardcore tankies even post links to CCP or Russia state sources. I consider myself an extremely liberal American, but I like my democracy, thank you.
