  • If I made software that people cared enough about to crack and pirate, I'd be happy that it's popular enough for that to happen.

    I am a software developer but I've only worked on SaAS and open source projects.

  • I'm not shocked, I went the apprenticeship route and I was able to get enough money together to buy a home last year after getting a job in my sector.

    Meanwhile my partner went to uni and is doing manual labour work while renting out a room, they got their degree but they can't find any work in their sector.

    If I went to uni, I would probably would not have been in any state to be saving any kind of money

  • Isn't FSR cross platform?

    I don't understand why only implementing FSR is a bad thing when DLSS is exclusive to Nvidia and if it wasn't the current punching bag Starfield, I doubt anyone would kick up a fuss about it.

    I'm saying this as someone that has an Nvidia GPU and hates the actual hardware lockout of G-Sync monitors.

  • I'll get right on that when there's someone to vote for in my area with trans positive views. Not like they'll be voted in given the right wing community in the local area to the point that we need anti-xenophobic counter protests whenever they march downtown.

    Edit: Just for reference, I live in the UK, a place that's just out a ban on places having exclusively gender neutral toilets
