It's just not cost competitive at all anymore.
One can argue about having a disposable second stage (like Falcon-9) vs. full re-usability (like the upcoming Starship), as the latter is not very efficient fuel wise. But not having a reusable first stage just makes it way too expensive to be able to compete in the currently market dominated by the Falcon-9.
Europe's new Ariane 6 rocket is set for its first-ever launch next week, carrying with it the continent's hopes of regaining independent access to space and fending off soaring competition from Elon Musk's SpaceX.

The stick is better for movement, while the pads are better for aiming. And the buttons work fine where they are.
Arguably the left side pad is a bit useless for gaming itself, but its nice to have two pads for desktop navigation and using the on screen keyboard that is build into steam.
Steam controller obviously (for everything other than retro gaming which often requires a dpad).

As usual you show a complete lack of reading comprehension as this is about making synthetic fuels with concentrated solar power.

It probably isn't the best use of the city's funds, but given the specific geography of the city, using the space above the river that runs along the entire narrow valley that makes up most of Wuppertal, it does make some sense.
Maybe in some remote, off-grid cabins, otherwise heating with synthetic fuels would be hugely inefficient.

Sublevel Zero is a very nice modern Descent rogue-like mix that also has a nice optional VR mode.
Beat Invaders is a nice modern space invaders variant with nice graphics and good music.
Yeah, it's fun and quite convenient.
On large fields it is probably too much work to do this, but in regular gardens I would say having the tomatoes grow a bit slower is of benefit to space the yield over the season and having some "free" potatoes at the end of the season is nice to have.

Partially a test for the video upload functionality of pict-rs.
Nothing specifically, just nice improvements cumulating over the years.
Installing Linux on most hardware became really easy maybe 5 years ago.
I changed the pict-rs settings a bit to allow more file types, but I assume your main issue is frontend and/or browser related.
Gnome works quite well on a larger touch-screen. Edit: ah, Ubuntu should have that by default.

Lead acid can boil over and fill a badly ventilated room with flammable hydrogen and other toxic gasses.
A well maintained LiFePO4 battery that some modern UPS use it probably less risky, but I think the risk for both is very low.
First off, nothing was destroyed or even significantly damaged so far.
Secondly, targeting individuals carries a much higher risk of civil litigation, potentially bankrupting the individual protestors for life. It is understandable that people don't really want to risk that. And it is also much less effective if your main goal is to incite media coverage to keep the topic in the public debate (as it is otherwise easily drowned out by what ever is the latest media freak-out incited by pundits like Trump that play a similar game).
