Kids are ditching traditional college for career tech programs. Parents are concerned.
  • Yeah. At least I make a pretty decent living for now.

  • I have two degrees and a certification and I work on an assembly line in a factory. If I had to do it all over again, I'd sure as hell chose a different path.

  • Heard of that book from Quinns Ideas. I'll add it to my list of reads.

  • Dune was supposed to be just a story. You weren't supposed to bring this aspect of the books, or any aspect for that manner, into the real world.

  • Trump says he will look into possible pardons for the men convicted of plotting to kidnap Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer
  • I realize this is probably a silly question, but can he even do that? The power of pardon only extends to federal crimes. The state of Michigan could still press charges and there is fuck all Dumb Dumb can do about it. Unless I miss something here.

(This is ignoring whatever his cronies at state level can do to obfuscate the situation of course)

  • Some years back i was leaving the gym (I live in the US by the by) and I found a debit card. Now the only identifying info on it was the bank associated and the name and such. I wasnt going to take it home and try and track down the person who owned it. So I took it to the associated bank, grabbed a deposit slip and wrote a note on it and dropped in the deposit box. I assume it was returned, but I honestly don't know. Felt this was the best approach given the circumstances.

  • If I may make a recommendation on this one. I would at least read the first story about the transient riots, which concludes with the issue titled "Up On The Roof." Should give you an idea of what the world is like, the main character. From there, it's up to you if you want to continue. There is a broader narrative after that, but this short bit at the beginning should be enough to get an idea of whether you like it or not. Happy reading.

A majority of Ohio voters approved a ballot measure to legalize and regulate marijuana for adults, but the legislature is trying to restrict their decision.

Tell Ohio Lawmakers to Respect Voters and Leave Issue 2 Alone

I've been hearing for a while now how lawmakers are either wanting to change certain parts of the law or outright repeal it. I encourage every voter in ohio to write their state representative and tell them to back down.
