YSK that apart from not having a car and voting, the single greatest thing you can do for the climate is simply eating less red meat.
  • True. Though maybe also activism until manufacturers are held accountable for their production methods and clean up costs. I do my share but I'm tired of being told it's on me. It's on corporate greed. Instead of spending on lobbying to avoid any changes to the status quo, they could spend much less coming up with different cleaner methods of production.

  • Sony only allows you to have one PS5
  • Ok thanks. I thought he meant that this wasn't possible anymore. Of course you can only have one primary, that was implemented a few years ago

  • Sony only allows you to have one PS5
  • So i have my primary PS5 at home, and I'm also logged in on my brother's PS5 not as primary. Can he still play my online games? Can i download them on his primary and have him play using his account? Cos that was possible last i checked.

  • What is this clock icon in my phone status bar? [solved]
  • Not sure it applies but maybe it's a reminder from another app, Google Assistant or other? Clear the cache on your clock app just in case and reboot

  • those little shits!
  • Consider yourself very lucky. Put on a dust mask and shovel this into a bucket. You can pour it into your compost bin, or bury it straight into the soil under your veggie garden or flower beds. Be sure to spread it around as opposed to clumped up together. Do a little more research as you are dealing with a bunch of the stuff so there might be some safety considerations.

  • Nazis are far-right, so why were/are they called National Socialists?
  • Democratic People's Republic of Korea aka North Korea, is not very democratic. Politicians are masters of BS and so they mask what they do and say with a veil of BS to appeal to more people. Socialism is far from extreme, it's a great middle ground between communism and capitalism, whereas nazis and other far right weirdos don't know what a middle ground is.

  • As Iran comes under attack, its Arab neighbors are largely AWOL
  • No surprise. Iran has little to no friends in the Middle East and Arabian Gulf. You reap what you sow i guess.

  • Should i do something?
  • Yes it's alive, i saw it move. Nice website, thanks. Unfortunately the Italians didn't answer yet 🤣 Will try again.

  • Should i do something?

I know there's a nest very close by, in my garden, from the poop i clean up. I've never seen a baby out and about until now. Should i just leave it there?

Anyone actually say during an interview that the reason they want the job was because they need money?
  • You will almost always be asked why you want the job, and money is implicitly understood for everyone that applies to the position. Don't bother mentioning it, it will only hurt your chances. IMO the way to answer that question is to link the job to your ambitions i.e. as a stepping stone, or your past experiences as a logical continuation and your capacity to be an asset, and finally any other motivations you can think of.

  • build walkable communities
  • Not a strong example of walkable communities, it's quite pathetic in fact. Is this satire?

  • Why do I drag my feet when it's time to start a new task even if I know I'll enjoy it once I get started?
  • Because everyone is struggling and tired of it? I think mental exhaustion, burnout, anxiety are common currency these days. Don't be hard on yourself if you need a warm up before you get started, like an old reliable beloved car.

  • Canon requires an account to transfer images from your camera. Forces you to sign up using Chrome.
  • How are you transferring these files? I understand it's less convenient but could you maybe take the sd card out and plug it into a laptop instead?

  • Gave him an offer, then took it away. Thanks PayPal.
  • That post turned into garbage in the last visible paragraph. In such a case he should sue the recruiting company, not post about "have i given it my best". LinkedIn trash

  • Can i grow a hydrangea tree from a mature shrub?

I see many guides online which start with a new plant. This is what mine looks like and it's been here for years, so I'm not sure if i can guide it into a tree anymore. If so, i guess now that it started budding would be a good time to trim everything but the leader?

Now is a good time to flood Wikipedia with donations. For the first time in my life, i have just donated to them and will do so again. You can do it too for a minimum of €2, no requirement for recurring donations or any nonsense.

    Metal anchors in wood

How do i remove these anchors? Is there maybe a way to push them further in so i can just add filler on top? I decided to refinish this piece of furniture but found myself stumped already. The anchors are flush with the furniture, so i can't grab them from the top. !

    Kill 6 Billion Demons

This is a graphic novel webcomic. It has now been 10 years running, with one or two pages update every friday. My personal favorite since I've started reading it around 7 years ago. Great story, universe, character development and style. I cannot recommend it enough. Warning: much gore. Hope you like it.
