In regular twin sticks games you move the stick/mouse towards some direction, 360 degrees around your character and the character points in that direction, instantly. In Weird West if you were looking at 12 o clock and, say, move the stick/mouse towards 6, the character will slowly rotate from 12 to 6 instead of instantly pointing in the new direction. This feels weird as fuck specially when you are moving and aiming at the same time. Imagine playing a first/third person shooter game with a lot of mouse acceleration and or lag and you get an idea of what im talking about.
The thing is that twin sticks controls have been solved since forever, both on controller and keyboard/mouse. So it baffles me that they were this route.
When I played there were to aiming schemes, normal and experimental (or something like that) but both were equally weird, is as If they were trying to combine twin sticks and FPS control schemes in a single game, and the outcome, for me at least, is atrocious.
I tried to like this game when it was on Game pass, I really did it. But the weird aiming put me away.
That's a cozy fire for sure.
That’s some high quality stick you have there my man.
It was a fun albeit a little generic in a moment when zombie fatigue was at its highest. Bad luck I guess.
Stealthy move indeed.
It's been roughly 8 years since I last paid for an Adobe subscription. The subscription period was over and yet they renewed it unilaterally. A whole year nonetheless.I called my bank, explained the situation, alleged scam and asked for a refund and to forever block any attempt from Adobe to charge my credit card. No only they agreed right away (which actually surprised me). They said that they have received a lot of similar request from other customers, all coming from Adobe.
I usually claim the free games but it seems I missed this :(
Yes, sorry, I forgot to put the quotes on official.
That’s the reason I haven’t gotten it until now. You may be right though.
Disco Elysium for under €3. Time to get it I guess.
What’s the point of an official Deck controller if it doesn’t have touchpads?
He looks really serious about it.
Fair point.
Thought i was at Nottheonion sub…
15% only? Not bad I’d say. I was expecting more like 30%+
Why not? Some of my most beloved ships are from video games, like the Ebon Hawk from KOTOR
Hehe, I used to be in the original hardware is the best way to play gang , but i came to appreciate how convenient is the Deck for emulation and the fact that most older games that I play work better on smaller screens, since they have lower resolution, sealed the deal for me. Now I only have the PS4 since it can’t be emulated for now and the 3DS since the 3D effect is so cool.
I sold most of my consoles because of emulation. The 3DS, however, is a keeper. It's silly but I love the glasses free 3D effect so much and that cannot be achieved via emulation.
I already know how to change icons on regular apps but since browser shortcuts (I'm using Internet from Samsung) on the home screen don't show as apps I'm at lost here, it is even possible or am I stuck with square icons while every other icon in my phone has rounded edges.
