Soldiers are just tools to the military machine. When they’re worn out, no longer useful, they’re discarded. If they get scratched up, burnt out while accomplishing the mission, so be it, thanks for your service. And In the end it was always just the ends justifying the means—a bunch of rich bigoted fucks sacrificing the young and motivated (and in this case, highly disciplined and skilled) to make sure the rich get richer and everybody else stays a plebe or dead.

When I’m prototyping some model deployment/application/backend, I choose Ubuntu. I’ve also chosen Debian Stable before.
When te decision has been made to actually write the fucking thing for real enterprise deployment, it’s always Alpine Linux so that we have fine control over literally every aspect of the image.
I’d never recommend Alpine for any other use case, tbh.
