Trust me, I'd love to play even more, but after 3-4 hours of high-intensity gaming, my brain is mush. 5 hours when it's more relaxed stuff like Minecraft, but after that, I can't focus anymore and make a million silly mistakes.
Music from the early gens, maybe up to gen 5, always brings me back to when I was a kid playing those games. Even the first few notes from the Route 201 theme (the one with Eevee) send me right back.
Casual latex under clothes is one of my favourite aesthetics. Latex isn't very practical for everyday wear, but it looks so damn nice, even in non-sexy contexts <3
There has been some difficulty getting this owl classified. It was originally a subspecies of Western Barn Owl (Tyto alba), then it became a monotypic species, and in 2023, 2 subspecies of American Barn Owl got reclassified as subspecies of the Ashy Faced Owl.
I love that we're still figuring stuff out. The classification of "famous" animals like owls feels like something that humans figured out long ago, but scientists are still discovering new connections to refine and correct existing models. That's freaking awesome!
This is also a tough vote between two beautiful owls. I'll keep my vote a secret, but both of them are great candidates.
I'll try to find a better alternative to dropbox. I don't want to use my private Proton account because private and Catbox doesn't work everywhere, but I'll sit down this weekend and try to find something.
Let's make it CC-BY, then! That's easier and less confusing than writing up a custom licence. That way, people can do what they want with it as long as credit is given when it's shared. I'll add all artists' names in the post body every time I update it, then they can just be copy-pasted.
Thank you! And like I said in the post body, there's no pressure, but I'm still excited to see what everybody is gonna draw :3
What a cool cat! I added them to the drawing. There might be a change in how to add characters because green_copper might have the perfect online solution, but no worries. If we pivot to that, you won't need to add them again :3
The time frame is until Christmas because it'd be nice to have the final image on the 25th, but I'm not a government employee, so if you're a day late, I can still add you.
I can provide the source file, I just don't know the best way to do it. Here's a dropbox link to the GIMP file. I also exported it as a Photoshop file, though I can't confirm if everything will look right in Photoshop. Dropbox may not be the best solution from a privacy point of view, though.
I haven't thought about licencing, to be honest. My attitude towards things I post online is that others can do with them what they want, but now that others' OCs are involved, CC-BY might be a good idea to make sure everybody gets credit for their art. Both sound good to me. You sound like you know a bit about licencing, so which one would you recommend?
Edit: And may I just add how anxiety-inducing doing this is. It's fun and exciting, but also asdfjas;fjasd;lfs I'm doing something x3
That's because you see all the little flaws after staring at your drawing for hours. What others see is all the effort you put into it, the colours, the story, the emotions, and all the good things that you take for granted after a while. Just because you could do better (or want to do better), that doesn't mean that what you're doing isn't good already <3
Well, you gotta look at the bright side because it could be a lot worse. They could've fallen against the door, and opening the door might've put their head between the two sliding doors. When the door tries to close again, it'd keep bonking them.
Don't worry, they're made of water! When the recoil launches the gun at their face, it'll just go through and hit whoever is behind them. Try not to stand behind them UwU
Having a mermaid's tail like that would be so cool. I'd totally do this, at least for a while. Monching on the tails of random people sounds like a fun way to pass the time, and the green tick tells me that it's okay to do that :3c
Suddenly, there's so much room for activities!
