it made me aware of how youtube and its content creators make use of it. it also made me aware of other video platforms out there.

no. it is just part of a combo of ads, generic/saturated content and privacy concerns

i think it is a sign of saturation. like how shops have hawkers to get people in and browse. the bad thing of course, is misrepresentation and maybe a waste of people's time

it is bad, and it is driven by money. but if the majority of people don't fall for it then there might be a chance for clickbaits to use a better method to get attention.

it depends on which content they like and them exploring would be better. mine's more into the federation and privacy side

for household items, i think the ceramic knife hits the spot.

i love to learn the theremin. but i like drums as well. i find it challenging keeping timings on each hand and foot.

cost is an easy reason/ barrier. but there's others like membership and other exclusivity options being offered out there.

for me, it generally boils down to "show me the work, then i decide".

some works are more influenced by politics like art pieces and written works. some, like architecture, plumbing and network stacks, much less so.

in this case, even if you don't know code but can be a good appraiser of political taint then you can decide on your own what to endorse or not.
