I have used soy, almond, and coconut milk to make tea or coffee. I haven't really found a good alternative to cheese. Most of the vegan cheese and butter alternatives tend to be processed. I think I just have to live without them. 🥲

Same here. It also makes you more aware and sensitive to animal suffering. So it can be a double edged sword.

The meat industry pays a lot of money to create doubt. Like the studies about saturated fat and red meat that say harm caused by them is "inconclusive".

Makes sense. The more I think about it, it's a contrived example to make meat eating look better. Why don't you compare with someone who forages and eats plants from a forest?
