Yeah, i'm in the exact same position. It kind of sucks that i paid money for it and now i don't even have access to it because Microsoft did a truly shitty move. It should be illegal to take away access to a product you paid for like this.
They increase views at the cost of credibility. Not worth the cost in my opinion.
It was originally for pancake screens so if you don't own a VR headset you can still play it. Just buy the correct version though 😁
If you want a closer modern OpenTTD you should check out Voxel Tycoon. A really nice builder in the TTD spirit.
