My whole digital experience would have been a lot different if it wasn't for this. I would want to have files structured into clearly named files and folders, but no, sooner or later it bites you if try to work around it.

Sometimes I hate when I fix something in a way that I'm not supposed to. Like "If I didn't know about this thing that I don't have any particular reason to know, I'd be fucked."
I'm also good at doing self-deprecating lists, but the to-do list stays useless.
Sometimes the deadline is like the only motivator to do the thing, if that is not enough the fate of the task was probably decided anyway.
Companies just don't get enough resistance to this behaviors if more people went against them things wouldn't be in the state they are now.
