Essentially yes, they are removing any SRD components due to the licensing debacle created by WOTC earlier in the year. Then there's some other changes like ability scores being removed and then just using the modifiers, which makes sense tbh

The only reason I don't play currently is due to my PCs CPU being about 9 years old. About to do a rebuild in the next few months.
I enjoyed it when I did play, for me it was more about discovery. I had a few PvP battles which were fun, not that iwas any good. Flying around in a group was great, especially when they implemented linked quantum jumps
At the moment, and I say this as a McLaren fan; that's just where McLaren are. No point in having the same experience they had with Honda whilst being towards the back of the midfield.
But I doubt they will win a championship without going the works route at some point

I mean it had to happen at some point with the wotc debacle and the OGL. It really doesn't affect round table plays or your current campaign unless you want to.
As for the actual changes I like them so far.
At the moment I'm just using the search within Jerboa to do that. It's at the bottom of the app, and I just search for Formula 1 it will bring up a list of communities with that title.
Loving it so far. Once you get used to how you connect to other instances it's a breeze.
Like you said Jerboa, is really coming along nicely and is easy to use.
