Star Ship Troopers is basically American Fascists In Space. The movie is tongue in cheek. (Though in the book, the author is quite serious).

So scenes from the movie are going to give a Nazi vibe, but isn't about supporting Nazis.

The key is to get muggles to understand we are living in Technofeudalism and why being digital serfs is bad. The problem is ineffective competition law and that monopolies are bad. The Left is split over Labour, LebDem, Green, SNP and Plaid Cymru. Now, also Corybn's new party.

The Right traditionally consolidated on the Conservatives and in NI, UUP. Now Reform are the Right consolidation point. Plus Con+Reform merge seams likely. UUP always worked with the Conservatives.

Amazing Labour ever win really. If Labour cared about country over party, they would be doing electoral reform. But they are still hoping they can take all the power under FPTP, with a few more point of the vote than others by the time the election. They are betting the country on it. Right now, it looks like this will let the fascists.

This is the nub of the issue. Markets need effective competition. Without it, you get fiefdoms and serfs, and shit products. Antitrust laws have been terrible for decades. Thanks to broken political thinking. Smash up the tech monopolies and not just tech will improve.

FPTP could easily give us fascists who will do to UK democracy what they have to the US.

Legally forced sharing from all platforms with onion routing and no ID? Government road data fed by all those cameras? Seams a solvable problem if done with privacy in mind not as yet another opportunity for mass surveillance.
