Personally can't stand when games partner with one manufacturer or the other for optimization. It's a lazy cash grab they try to pass as a benefit to the consumer.
Personally I love it. It was certainly a very jarring change from what I'd grown accustomed to in the years prior. But it's playful while also being clean and professional. Hope more devs implement it in their apps as time goes on.
Yeah reddit is full of opposite men who literally argue just to argue regardless of their actual stance. I stopped commenting there awhile ago since it wasn't fun, just toxic.
I truly feel most of the 3rd party app users were the more level headed folks in the userbse. For the most part we were users there since before reddit had an app when good discourse took place. We're taking that discourse with us and I anticipate further deterioration of reddit. More akin to Facebook style toxicity and echo chambering. I'm sad to see it because overall that's a net loss for humanity/the internet. But I like it here.
Yeah I've already moved on to just enjoying the content and interacting with people. I enjoy the people here and the overall more humble discourse. It's chill by comparison and commenting is fun. I see myself sticking around.
