I’ve been splitting time between Lemmy and Reddit since Apollo shut down. I’ve been using the official Reddit mobile app.
I just looked at my battery stats and holy cow. It ate 40% of a full charge in 2 hours of screen time. I’m not an app developer, but that seems…bad

I’ll be very curious to see the stats start rolling in regarding any decrease in Reddit’s views, etc. since July 1. I’m still using it, but only about half as much as I did with Apollo.
“Mud room” is an American thing. It’s a whole friggin room with tile floor, probably the washer/dryer, etc., usually the first room off the garage entrance in my experience. It might not translate to other countries.

I assume Rosatom is the Russian atomic energy agency? I assume the Ukrainian version is called something different? If so, I really hope the Ukrainian personnel are still there.
My understanding is the Mastadon is the Twitter replacement and Lemmy is the Reddit replacement. Both use the same technology.
