Here it comes - Reddit admins taking over subs
  • So it’s not enough to prove that the IP used is not from the EU and that therefore it’s (supposedly) not under EU jurisdiction?

It covers EU citizens traveling abroad?

If so, dang that’s a good law

  • What happened when people switched to reddit?
  • Was there a catastrophic event similar to the Reddit API change that led people to flock to Reddit? Or was it the appeal of the format?

For reference: I started because my friend was browsing Reddit in class and it seemed like something to do. I’m not sure if I represented the general population

  • What happened when people switched to reddit?

Apollo Is a Work of Art
  • What did you like about Apollo? I used ReddPlanet instead. I wasn't going to pay for Apollo before I could figure out what I was getting and that I would like it. ReddPlanet had everything I wanted and payment was cosmetic and supporting lupeski.

  • For everyone new to Lemmy, how are you finding the experience?
  • It's actually pretty good, especially once you figured out how to subscribe to communities on other instances. I'm a bit miffed, to be honest. I was thinking about making something like this and I found that it already existed.

A few things I would change on the web interface:

    1. Long text post should have a "show more" instead of having to click into it
    2. Clicking on the title should bring you to the article if it's a link. Clicking on the comments should bring you to the discussion.
    3. Please. I have no iOS development skill but need an iOS app that's not in beta.
