  • The worst part about it is the hyper loop is an objectively cool idea, impractical but fucking sweet, that definitely didn't originate from Elon. He only jumped on it to try and divert cash from highspeed rail and even then it just evolved into lol put cars in a tunnel I own.

  • A woman in Florida got pissed at her insurance company after they denied her insurance claim, she allegedly said "Delay, Deny, Depose. You people are next," before hanging up the phone. She's been charged with threats to conduct a mass shooting or an act of terrorism.

  • I don't know if I ever used iTunes to rip music but I did buy an iPod in 2005 so I used iTunes for that for a while. I ran into a bug with it though where it would fuck up the song database on my iPod and half the songs showed up on the iPod as unknown, everything was fine in iTunes. Found out pretty quickly after I discovered that that Winamp could handle loading music into an iPod and never had the problem again.

  • I'm not sure a cherry picker would work here but I don't know enough about cherry pickers to be able to answer for sure. Like cherry pickers are meant more for up than out and these guys aren't more than like 16ish feet up and are probably further than that from the closest pool edge, the boom might not be able to go that far out that low with any sort of load on it.

  • The actual program name is snap but everyone still just calls it food stamps and I'm pretty sure now food stamps are just handed out as cash on prepaid debit cards. I think there some categories that you can't use snap benefits to buy, like anything alcohol or cigarettes, but other than that I think it's pretty much a free for all.

There are other programs like WIC that I think do give out very specific benefits but those are laser focused on certain groups.

I'm far from an expert on this stuff I've never used snap or any of the other food assistance programs in the states.

  • I was wondering this too, seems like all the planets have an evolution percentage but I didn't see anything that used it on Fulgora and I don't know if the worm on Vulcanus are affected by it either.
