  • I'm working on Lunacid. It's not really a soulslike imo, but it is inspired by Shadow Tower and King's Field according to the developer's description on Steam. I'm also seeing a lot of other fromsouls influence, especially Demon's Souls and DS1. Having a blast and recommend it.

Least favourite optional boss is DS1 Demon Firesage. It's a rushed filler reskin of a boss where a boss isn't needed. The arena sucks because of the branch collision. It's not even much of a challenge otherwise.

  • The Final Fantasy Tactics remake. I never buy new games, but this one is special to me and I wanted to vote with my wallet to praise them for finally releasing it for PC. They did a good job with updating it, too, so I'm happy.

  • First playthrough I go through it blind because you only get to experience it for the first time once. Make mistakes, do what you want.

After that look up whatever you want because there is much less risk of spoilers, and stuff you will probably miss otherwise.

  • Why do you care, and what would you do with that information?

  • HUNTER×HUNTER Chimera Ant arc. I started watching thinking I wouldn't really care, but it's been great. Lots of character development and, let's just say, memorable moments.

  • Old King Allant runback was hell

  • Lots of good suggestions already, but I don't think I saw anyone mention Twisted Metal: Black. It's very dark and lots of fun.

  • Currently playing Final Fantasy Tactics remake which is not a soulslike, I'm just excited about it

  • In Canada it was called Beasties, I guess because "wars" wasn't allowed in the title of a show for kids.

  • I'm no expert, but the way I understand it is your rates won't increase because you were not at fault and can prove it.

Secondly, this asshole hit your car and ran, so fuck them, this is one time you maybe should talk to the police.

Another thing to consider is that filing this can make it show up that your car had an accident on your Carfax report in the future if you planned to sell the car. First thing I would do is go get a quote from a shop and see what the cost to repair will be, then go from there.

  • I don't know who any of these are. Going afk jungle 30 mins brb

  • I've been on a 3D platformer binge.

Just finished Castle on the Coast and was pleasantly surprised. It starts off feeling a little janky, but after the first 30-60 minutes realize it's intentional and you are a silly giraffe parkour GOD. Some later levels get into abstract platforming and refreshingly different mechanics than I've experienced before. Worth checking out if you're a 3D platformer-head.

Currently playing through Spyro Reignited Trilogy. Never played any of them before, but always wanted to. Just finished the first one and it was quite fun, although I did not like the final boss. There should have been a checkpoint after the first phase (2 keys phase). Looking forward to finding out how they developed the mechanics from there in 2 and 3.

  • Soldiers when sollivers walks in

  • is exploration good in DS2?

Yes, but not as good as DS1, because they nailed the interconnected world in that game. DS2 is more like branches off from the main hub, and you can access most of them right away or very early. DS1 was built different than the other Fromsoft games. You'll still have plenty to explore and the DLCs are especially massive, but you won't have those "omg I'm back at firelink!" moments. It's similar in the way you go through Catacombs/Tomb, or Duke's/Crystal Cave, a series of areas that eventually hit a dead end.

  • Jumping had not been invented yet

  • I'm not the person you asked, but I can tell you the DS2 punish mechanic isn't as bad as it sounds. You pop a human effigy (humanity) and it's gone. You can get a ring that mitigates the effect in one of the first areas, and you can wear 4 rings instead of just 2 like in DS1.

Bosses are generally not that difficult. There's no noob trap where you end up in Tomb of the fucking Giants early and have to climb back out. You can teleport between bonfires immediately.

There are some tough areas for sure, but you can actually make enemies go extinct by killing them 12 times.
