Nah, it’s just they buy wet wood and it twists as it dries. Also, places like Lowe’s likes to stack a lot of wood vertically, so they get that nice bow in them for all those rocking chairs people want to build.

Disagree. The joke exists because there are people out there that do feel shame for their body, and they are trying to cover it up by overcompensating in other areas; loud cars in this particular case. That does not mean the joke itself is body shaming, but yes, body shaming in general is a basic requirement for the joke to work.
