People around the world are trying to learn English because it's the Lingua Franca, but imagine if the Lingua Franca of the world was a Tonal Language and the writing system was Logographic.
When a parent's primary/preferred language differs from their child(ren)'s primary/preferred language, who should have the most "obligation" to learn more of the other's preferred language?
Transliterated country names into Chinese Language use pre-existing characters that already has its own meaning, therefore native Chinese speakers have a subconcious impression based on country names.
You know like... there are just events in your life that only your close family members know about and can really understand, that even a therapist will never truely feel and understand... and...
I sometimes can't sleep at night. Perhaps my brain's "CMOS Chip" battery ran out and my circadian rhythm defaulted to my "factory settings" of Beijing Time (UTC +8), which would explain my insomnia.

Is anyone else noticing this weird trend of brand new accounts posting memes and comics and stuff, does not engage in comments, get upvoted to front page, then banned?
What's this ram price surge thing going on in the memes? Is this gonna affect pre-builts, laptops, tablets, phones, and other electronics?
Given how often memes are reposted: There should probably another vote option like a "Hey, I've seen this before!" vote button beside the upvote and downvote options.
Do people actually call their parents by their name (as in First-name basis)? Have you ever done that? Or witnessed someone doing that?
Plot twist.
