I only noticed in the last couple of weeks.
That is true but I feel it's still uneven. Assuming I want to be there, if I mess up they can just not invite me back.
Those who set the rules (what 'messing up' even is) are still in a position of power over me in that sense - I can't get them fired (those positions are paid) the same way they can just dismiss me.
I am of course perfectly fine with this, and am not seeking to move up in the hierarchy. (But it is possible to do so.)
Is that really a 410x improvement for whatever txpush is?
Bye bye bye.
I'm reminded of this: Cats know their names and are ignoring you by choice.
Also you know literal volunteering, like for a charity.
I volunteer at a non-profit on weekends, and that places me in a position of extremely little power, way below the board of directors and the executive director and I'm choosing to be there.
I really just don't get the original statement, not sure what it's trying to say.
I guess they assumed/discovered that the ban is definitely happening.
If not, then it is now!
It's .ml that can't stand a little bad language. I doubt they are scanning images though.
It does link to another article with one Here (It's musical even)
The licensing on HDMI doesn't allow open source implementations of at least some of the driver stuff.
So it works on Nvidia because of the closed source driver.
(I have not dug into details obviously)
I see the headline and my first thought is "Which one of those networks?"
Very nice. I think the format works well for close-up shots like this
This isn't that. It's relabeling the existing USB standards in a way that actually makes sense finally.

For the lazy:
"A source of confusion is that 'citron' in French and English are false friends, as the French word 'citron' refers to what in English is a lemon; whereas the French word for the citron is 'cédrat'.
...
Other languages that use variants of citron to refer to the lemon include Armenian, Czech, Dutch, Finnish, German, Estonian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Hungarian, Esperanto, Polish and the Scandinavian languages.[citation needed]"
I thought a lot about that story when there was the whole blowup about the possibly-easy-to-make-room-temp-superconductor a while back.
Of course as expected it wasn't real, but it was fun to imagine how things would be if it was real and we had discovered it much sooner.
No idea, best I got is that maybe the default name is always the same from whatever source they are using, so they would get 'replace it?' dialog anyway.
My guess is since they are images the thumbnail is more important as an identifier than the name would be.

There are unfortunately some subreddits which are still the best place to find timely info about certain topics - for example video game subs run by the developers of the game. Lemmit is a way to subscribe to those while not giving Reddit any more "engagement" or ad views.
The bot that runs Lemmit only posts on its own instance, so users like me only see it when we subscribe explicitly (or the All view I guess, but that's a mixed bag already. Edit: and each user could choose to ban it if they want)
