Some people, believe it or not, think that being a mod on a subreddit makes them cool and interesting. In reality, it makes them look like a bozo.

Seriously, this. I tried for days to register on Lemmy. One day I was mid-registration and the button was just spinning, doing nothing, so I came over to kbin, registered and started using the site. Lemmy never stopped spinning. No thanks.

Not quite, but I also don’t really want to go back to reddit. I’m seeing some great alternatives on the rise, so I can sense I’ll be deleting the profile at some point. Just haven’t pulled that trigger yet.
