Fast drying and slow drying baby - shirts, socks, underwear, anything with a lighter fabric that will dry quickly. Other load is towels, jeans, flannels, any heavy fabric that holds a lot of water

Went to 1password shortly after the first (maybe) debacle and have been extremely pleased since. I know it's a similar risk with a hosted database but the convenience is hard to beat
I second trunks, i like it. There are a couple things that take extra taps but it's worth trying. Web app for desktop too
If you're looking for a pure kiosk experience check out porteus kiosk, it's a very stripped down distro that lets you choose Firefox or chrome and by default uses private browsing.
I'm sure if you need a whole desktop experience that's also possible but i don't know how
